Can i put a gigabyte gtx 770 heatsink on a gainward gtx 770?

I have a defect gigabyte gtx 770, and i wounder if i can put the heatsink on my gainward gtx 770?

The fans are bigger on the gigabyte modell and the card is newer then the gianward.

They may not. Going by the aftermarket EK waterblocks. The EK-FC770 only works on Palit and Gainward custom PCB design. So the Gainward is not using a reference layout and/or parts. Although that may only affect specific models. Likely not as they have none on the reference waterblock list.

Gigabyte also appears to use a non-reference PCB. As the reference waterblock does not list compatibility with any Gigabyte card.

If you are lucky it fits or just needs minor work to fit. Such as buying new thermal pads and placing them correctly.
