Is my CPU overheating? And if so, how to fix it?

Hello. I recently got a new computer, only to realize that I couldn't livestream as well as I used to with my last one.

The video quality is very bad, so I figured it could be because my CPU was overheating.

I used a program to measure the CPU's temperature and got these results: http://prntscr.com/e8iox0

I don't know much about it so maybe you guys could tell me if it's bad or not.

And if it is, how could I fix it? It is a new PC.

Like Dustybin said, that's clearly a result of the cpu cooler not cooling the cpu. It might not be attached properly, possibly coming loose during transport, and if that's the case, you will want to replace the thermal compound when you re-attach it. It could also be that the fan on the cooler isn't working properly though, so you might check that it's spinning properly and not blocked by stray wires or anything.

Did you buy this PC assembled or make it yourself? If you built it yourself you should take your CPU cooler off, clean away the thermal paste and reapply as a start. Failing that if you're using a stock cooler you should replace it with a quality after market cooler.

If you bought this built then contact whoever made it and get them to fix it, those temps are way too high.

The other thing to consider is air flow around and inside the computer, do you have any case fans and what is your cable management inside? If you've got the PC in a built in unit it needs clearance around it especially where fans are venting hot air.

It is actually quite relieving to know that the temperature is a problem since it would explain all the issues I've been having.

I did buy all the different parts myself, but the shop built the actual PC. I am unable to contact them as I moved out very far away, and I picked the parts pretty much following a guide as I am not used to messing with this kind of stuff.

I can definitely try what you've said but I would need a more in depth explanation to not [censored] anything up. It would be great if you could either explain the steps I should take or link me a guide that would explain how to do what you've suggested.

Regarding my last one, I am not sure, but it was way less expensive than this one and I had it for around 4 years. All I remember is the processor was an i5 and the price of the whole thing was 800€.

Well is really easy to do, if you follow the steps you will be just fine.

This is just one of the endless vids you can find about thermal paste and assembling CPU cooler, like Dustybin said before if this does not resolve the temps issue you will need to replace it for an aftermarket CPU cooler.

Always try to keep your temps as low as possible, this will give you the best possible performance of your chip and will last longer.

I strongly suspect the CPU cooler is badly mounted, before you remove it though make sure you have spare paste and a suitable wipe and cleaner fluid to remove the current paste. You need an alcohol based cleaner and some form of wipe that doesn't leave lint or masses of residue behind.

Well you have your CPU water cooling, the CPU is just beneath the pump (the round metal/plastic thing with the ANTEC logo on) there is something definitely wrong with that cooling if you are getting so hight temps.

Can you make a better picture with some natural light so we can see the whole thing a bit better?

Ok lets star with the basics, with your PC on and running carefully place your fingers on top of the pump and see if you feel the pump is working, there must be a vibration, if it is too hot to the touch and you can feel the pump, well in that case the pump may be dead (I don´t think so but we need to discard everything)

I don't feel any vibration at all, but it's definitely not very hot. About the same temperature as when I touch the PC case

It seems that next step is un mount the CPU pump, for this you need to remove the radiator and then the CPU pump, remember you will need thermal paste to replace the existing once you detach the cooler from the CPU.

You shouldn't have done that.
If water did get onto your motherboard or graphics card, then you can't turn your pc on until water has completely dried off.
It may require days and excessive ventilation.

I I´m really concenr about that liquid liquing I see in your pic, open the other side cabinet and you should see the mounting screws that hold the base, anyhow like I said I dont like that liquid droping all over, did you open up the pump?

Your AIO cpu water cooler is not designed for disassembly.
You're gonna have serious problems refilling it and eliminating air bubbles.

Put the water-block back together. Then wiggle it around a bit so it comes off the cpu and remove it completely.

Until you figure out, how to refill your AIO water cooler and eliminate air bubbles, get air cooler for your cpu.
