I'm just going to paste my thread from reddit here, so I apologize for the robotic formatting.

Troubleshooting Help:

What is your parts list? Consider formatting your parts list.
Intel Core i5-7600 3.5GHz
Be Quiet! Shadow rock slim 67.8 CFM
Gigabyte GA-H170-HD3 ATX LGA1151
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-2666
Fractal Design R5 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Seasonic G 550W 80+ Gold
Samsung 500GB Pro SSD
PNY Nvidia GTX 980 (Reference)
TP-Link TL-WDN4800 PCI-Express WiFi Adapter
BenQ XL2411 Monitor

Describe your problem. List any error messages and symptoms. Be descriptive.
I finished building my computer but all I get is a bootloop. The computer powers up, the fans are on, the lights are lit. The computer stays powered for 5-7 seconds and reboots. The monitor says it reads no signal. If I could get to the BIOs, I'd have so much more information, but my screen is 100% nothing. I should also mention that all fans, and lights seems to be working fine. The motherboard did not come with a speaker (just ordered one that should be arriving tomorrow) so I can't listen for beeps.

List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.
I've tried plugging the monitor into the motherboard instead of my graphics card after unplugging my graphics card entirely, I've tried booting with a single or both ram sticks removed, I've triple checked the motherboard power connectors, I've removed every single component of the computer minus the motherboard, cpu, heatsink and power supply and tried to boot. Still no cigar. Yes, my monitor is on the correct input setting. I've checked that about a dozen times.

Post relevant photos of build/parts here.

Provide any additional details you wish below.
I just thought I'd mention I'm not a beginner to builds. I've built about a dozen computers in the last 3 years and I've never run into such a devastating issue. The worst part is, I moved to Tokyo a month ago and so I'm no longer in a world I'm so familiar with, which makes this all so much more uncomfortable. I just hope I can get this resolved.

I should also mention the graphics card and ssd I carried in a padded, anti-static bag with me from California. They were the two that I did not buy over here. The GTX 980 seems to be working fine. It lights up and fans spin.

I ordered a motherboard speaker for beep troubleshooting, but that arrives tomorrow and amazon doesn't want to refund/replace my order until gigabyte tells me themselves the mobo is at fault. Yet, gigabyte doesn't seem to want to answer me. What should I do?

Oh god, that's going to be a pain in the butt. I think ordering a new motherboard and returning this one would be a much better solution. What should I look out for to make sure the motherboard I buy next is surely compatible out of the box with kaby Lake?
