My monitor had no display so i sent it for repairing. Got a call next day that it is done. Asked them what was the issue, they said it had no issue. Went down to collect and asked them to boot up a few times to check, booted up perfectly everytime. Came back home and tried but only had no problem the first time booting up. After that it continued to have no display. Just bought the monitor and was working fine. Was wondering if it could be not enough power from the socket,my friend had this issue. I change the extention plug and used a different socket but still doesnt work.Really need help here. Cheers!

Update: it still display sometimes after i on the mainswitch and wait for a while before i press the powerbutton. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not

It will show no video connection and then will stay blackscreen. Tried switching the hdmi cable but it will show check cable connection instead.
It's a Philips. Will updated the model once i reach home. And try what you said

No beep. My monitor is Phillips 247E. My HDMI cable is plugged into my graphic card. However it will beep 5 times if i plug the HDMI into the MOBO. I have updated my spec in the first post. I can also access the menu on my monitor. Thanks

Do you have another source with a hdmi output, like a dvd player , gaming console ?
The monitor can take a signal from any hdmi source so If we try a different source and it works then we know its ths PC that has the fault then we can deal with that.

Remove the hdmi lead from the graphics card and the monitor.
Do you still get a signal.
If you do then your actually not using the graphics card at all and motherboard is outputting the signal.

No, the way you have it connected now means that the motherboard is supplying the signal to the monitor not the graphics card.
Remove the Hdmi from the monitor and tell me if you still have the desktop showing on the monitor !
