I have a Laptop HP Probook 4420s Intel Core i3 350m @2,27Ghz ,if my laptop i equip with external graphics card. is it possible the same perfomance as the desktop version?
It depends. In games that rely mostly on the GPU, you will see a great improvement in graphics. In more CPU intensive games, you are still going to be limited by the mobile CPU which is low powered compared to desktop CPU's.

As far as i known you need to use a thunderbolt port to use an external gpu, the case alone will probably cost more than the full cost of that laptop.
