I would be concerned to use that power supply with that video card, it not having the connectors indicates it is of past time. and should consider changing it, that and doubled with the unknown wattage your PSU currently has, I would say the same thing as danktech, what make, model and wattage your PSU is.

I always tell people to never use adapters. Forcing a PSU to do something it was never intended to do is a bad idea. Worse, from your post you made it sound like your PSU has no 6pin plugs. Do yourself a favor and get a new PSU. It will be for the best.
Actually..If you are thinking of using an adapter for a GPU...You don't seem that tech smart XD....If you could tell us your full PC specs...I would appreciate it...
