So all was going well after i installed windows 10 on my new ssd until i realised for some reason it created the boot partition on the hdd. So i unplugged the hdd and re installed windows. I then plugged in the hdd and it was not appearing in windows so i looked into the bios and noticed the hdd was showing there but also 2 instances of the ssd one uefi and the other says p1. If i switch to the p1 version it does not boot and says it needs repair.

Any ideas or should i just re format and start again for the 3rd time

Hey there, MorphiusX.

Would you please post a screenshot of what you see about your drives when you open Disk Management?
Basically if you've performed a clean install of Windows on your SSD while having the HDD disconnected from the motherboard during the installation process and if you reformat your HDD clean, that should solve everything.
Are you able to properly boot to Windows with just the SSD connected to the mobo, without any issues?
