can Overclocking CPU reduce bottlenecks?

So I finally purchased a Palit Ge Force GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 and to my dismay, my CPU isn't powerful enough and my CPU is the bottleneck... as I am earning for a better CPU, can I at least do something to reduce the bottleneck?

Solution
The only games that matter are the ones you play yourself. It would still bottleneck in quite a few. I have the 5820k CPU, clocked to 4.5ghz. And I'm still CPU bottlenecked in some games I play, even when aiming for 60 fps. https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp[]=2747&cmp[]=2340. Keep in mind that this score is at stock.

You don't say what your CPU is, and why did you buy a GTX 750 Ti? That is outdated now. If you are going to buy something from nVidia in that price range, it would be much better to buy a 1050 Ti with 4GB vram instead.

The 750 Ti is only very slightly cheaper than the 1050 Ti in most regions, while the 1050 Ti can be 70 % more powerful(depending on the games in question). If you can return the 750 Ti, I would do so.

And the 6300 is multiplier locked, so you would have to increase the base clock rate, and unless you have a decent aftermarket cooler, you would not be able to get OC gains worth the time for that CPU. And if you don't already have that cooler, I would not spend money on buying one for that system.

Here in the PH, the 1050 Ti is very expensive about $150-200 or so...bought the 750 TI for about $100

Even at a 50% price increase, if that is the cheapest option you have, the 1050 Ti is still a better choice.

And again, there's not too much that can be done on your CPU side, I'm sorry.
