Reusing old computer components

If you have to ask, I'm going with you don't need them. What would you even use a server for? If the old computer is new enough let it be a family members web surfing machine, or perhaps hook it up to your TV for home theater use. If you have no glaring use for an old computer then just get rid of it. Don't create a use where there is no need. Will only cost you money.
