3320? You mean 8320? You're on the borderline with that CPU so maybe... definitely get a new one before upgrading GPU again

I would say it could be due to the card having only 3Gb of graphics card memory on board of it also.
A FX 8320 cpu should do a decent job when playing games on your system also though it may bottle neck some of the time, but not too much.
Dont forget what chip set the motherboard has can also effect things a bit when gaming on a Amd based system.
