I have just bought a NZXT Grid, however, when it arrived I noticed that all the ports are 3 pin connectors. On my motherboard I have a 4 pin fan connector, so my question is: if I get a 4 pin connector to a 3 pin converter will that allow me to control the fan speed. At the moment I have a 3 pin connected to the 4 pin connector which is causing the fans to run at 100%.

I wouldn't see why not. 4 pin connectors are used for fans that are PWM controlled (Speed and such are controlled through the motherboard based on settings in the bios menu). 3 pin fans are run at their own speed, rather than being dependent on the mobo's settings. So in sense, I believe you would be able to control speeds while using a converter.

Feel free to ask any questions :).
