Logitech Mouse Randomly Switching Primary Mouse Buttons? - Windows 10

After I switched my primary mouse buttons in the control panel as part of a procedure to resolve my mouse double-clicking on light releases, (never fixed this issue, I believe there's a hair lodged beneath the button, just got used to clicking more assertively) my primary buttons would continue to switch randomly, albeit on startup or even left inactive for a few minutes. The mouse is a Logitech G502 Proteus Core and drivers are up to date. I'm using a PC, so the registry fixes using the Synaptics files on other googled answers won't work in this case. I've tried configuring the 'SwapMouseButtons' under HKEY_CURRENT_USER > ControlPanel > mouse to 0, but this also resets whenever it occurs. Does anyone have a potential solution for this?

Solution
Start by trying the mouse on another computer. Try another mouse on the original computer.

See if the problem follows the mouse or stays with the computer.

If the problem stays with the mouse then try to remove the hair. Maybe a vacuum cleaner. Disconnect the mouse from the PC first.

A period of more "assertive clicking" may have had some adverse physical impact inside the mouse. I.e., the mouse is broken.

Not the sort of "hardware" problem that can be fixed by "software" or "configuration".
