so i have the asus z87 pro with 4670k and gtx 670 the psu is evga 600w.
i already plugged the three main psu cables ( the 20 pin one and the 4+4 cpu one and the 8+6 pcie one ) the thing is the cpu and gpu fans are working but whenever i connect my monitor to the vga on the motherboard i get no signal although i was expecting to see the bios.i dont know what other psu power connections i am missing. pls help thnx :)

You have to connect the monitor to the GPU, not the motherboard.

perfect ! it did work but any idea why doesnt the vga in the motherboard work ? also does that confirm that my gpu is working because i bought it used and dont have a windows to fully check it yet ? thnx :)

Installing a GPU almost always disables the graphics function of the CPU and motherboard.
And yes, if you get an image, your GPU is working, at least minimally.
