So my question is how do I get my icons back? All desktop icons are gone all thumbnails and icons in windows explorer everything gone.
I have reset defaults 10 times. I have rebuild icon cache like 20 times using downloaded bat files and manually using cmd. I don't know what else to try.
Problem happened when I accidentally pasted 800 photos to my desktop. I went into the desktop via explorer since 800 photos won't show up on the desktop and moved them all where I meant to put them. As soon as I did that boom all icons/thumbnails/etc gone.
Running updated windows 10.
