USB ports not responding in Win 7

Hello all, I recently upgraded my MB to an MSI Z97 Gaming from and old beat up Gigabyte board. Now none of my USB devices work. I got the keyboard to work through PS/2 port. To clarify, everything works in BIOS, but not once I get to windows

I am running Windows 7 64 bit, Intel I3 4150, and the new MSI board

You need to install the intel USB3.0 driver ( or ASMedia USB3.0/3.1 Drivers), intel ME driver, also better to install the intel chipset driver too. You can get them from MSI or from intel site. But you should be able to use the USB2.0 ports.
