PLEASE POWER DOWN AND CONNECT THE PCIe POWER CABLE(S) FOR THIS GRAPHICS CARD”/ GTX 1070/HPZ820

I'm running Windows 10 on a HPz820 and I just installed a gigabyte GTX 1070. I get the error message "PLEASE POWER DOWN AND CONNECT THE PCIe POWER CABLE(S) FOR THIS GRAPHICS CARD" I am using 6 pin to 8pin cable as the PSU has only 6 pins.
Is this card supported? Can anyone recommend a different card for animating and editing in a Z820?

A GTX 1060 should only have a 6 pin PCIe power connection like this one https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814487263

This power supply is good, has a rebate and will power the 1070 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151093 The issue you may have is if the power supply in the system is not a standard one. Which is looks like is the case. If the system can run a standard ATX PSU, then you can swap it.
