Evening before going in too deep here is my PC.

i5 4690k OC to 4.5 Custom water loop (Haswell)
GTX 1080 Strix
Asus Maximus Hero VII
Corsair DDR 3 Vengance 12GB RAM
EVGA 850 power supply
SSDs all around

Now of course the i5 is pretty old if not mistaken was release around 2013? Any who, i been out of the loop from all the new tech but i been having this itch to upgrade the MOBO,RAM and CPU my question here was if is worth it or not? I play ultrawide (3440x1440) With Asus rog monitor, i can mostly max out all games with solid frames but cant never get up to the 80s or 90s or even 100FPS, whats new out there i think i saw a Z270?

Also i think i might wanna go with the Samsung 950 Pro SSD, not sure if that would make a huge difference

Crazy to think the i5 4690k still $300...its a hell of a CPU and very surprised still running..i had it OC from day one, one of the reason i like Intel.

No budget issue here but of course i wanna have the best bang for the buck with out overspending on unnecessary parts, AND NO I DONT CARE FOR THE AMD Ryzen no matter what ill stick with Intel.

Thank you.

Edit: saw this http://www.pcgamer.com/pc-build-guide-high-end-gaming-pc/ Would this be okay?

So you are saying yes to upgrade?

Also i forgot to ask...how could i transfer windows 10 with out having to buy a new one...if possible

LMAOOO that was JUICE xD

You said money's no object, so yes to upgrade !
I was going to get your CPU when I did this build, and was convinced to do an i7. I'm glad I did. I primarily game, and I know that at least Battlefield 1 wants an i7, so that would be an upgrade. Going from 12 gig of ddr3 to 16 (if not 32) gigs of DDR4 will be an upgrade (and your 12 was the minimum I'd want). The motherboard would be a pretty mild upgrade. Your GPU is fine unless you want to SLI.

Oh right i did forget to mentioned the games, but i play just about everything out there, BF, Titanfall, COD, Batman, Ghost recon etc etc, and really looking forward the new Mass Effect game.

Well the CPU can only take 4.5 stable, anything else higher wont boot up

Actually, I meant lowering the OC to see what that does ('stable' or not) ..stranger things have happened.

"Have you tried monitoring CPU, GPU, and RAM usage (and temps obviously while you're at it) while gaming to see who is maxing out?"
