Well I brought a new MSI 970a carbon motherboard and it won't boot to bios. I have a fx 8350 that works fine on my old board but if you know the MSI boards layout it has 4 lights CPU ram VGA and boot which all light up red when I turn it on, I have sent it back once and they said it works fine so now after 13 hours of trying to get this to boot my brain is fried please help some body

No I don't think it does because its in the current supported list and BIOS is still 1.0.

Only conclusion I can come to is that there is a problem with the PSU only because there is a weird noise coming from it but that works fine on old board as well so I have a mate bringing over he's PSU on Friday to test this thing .

What a day (o)

I have this exact mobo

Never had this issue and all my parts were brand new
Some processor as you as well.

You say all 4 led debug lights are on?????

Please check ALL cords and plugs and make sure everything is plugged in again
Try boot and let me know what happenes

Yer I checked every cord with a fine tooth comb and there all ok. Put my old board back in and all parts are working as expected. pretty much as I said above will see tomorrow if its the PSU. No solution yet.

what i would try would be to reset CMOS(remove battery for 10 minutes and replace it). Also, a speaker would give a hint. One thing that won't fix something but may give some clues, would be to try to boot without RAM and see if the led pattern changes.
