CPU Upgrading Causing Display Issues

So I just upgraded from an i5 6600k to an i7 7700k. The issue is that when I boot up the computer, it runs and you can hear the fan and I see my GPU glowing inside, but my monitor gets no signal. I did apply thermal paste to the CPU, it's not the monitor as I tried swapping monitors, using different cables, and when I put back in the i5 it works, but now I also have an issue that sometimes pops up saying "Display Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered" only once so far. A few people have told me I needed to change things with my BIOS, but I'm not really sure where to approach, and at the same time the issue is I can't see anything at all with the i7 in, so I can't really mess with any settings.

If the MOBO model is correct, it seems that the CPU is not supported, check this link for more info

EDIT:
Try to find the exact model of your MOBO and then check the Asus webpage for CPU support and BIOS update, if there is one to support your new CPU

That's weird, I swear a few days ago I checked with my brother as well and saw the compatibility, perhaps we read wrong or even searched for the wrong motherboard. Will be something I'll look more into tomorrow then. Appreciate the help

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/asus-kaby-lake-bios-update,news-54008.html

The ASUS website is terrible (UK one gives inaccurate info) BUT if you look in the list of BIOS downloads the latest one refers to 'New CPU support' and the version number matches what is in this article. As Sm0k says find out the exact model of motherboard but I believe that pretty much all the ASUS line of B150 motherboards have an updated BIOS for Kaby Lake.

As of right now I'm just trying to search for the update from the Asus site for when I get home in a few hours to try it. Never updated a bios before, looks to be fairly simple.

Okay, so I've searched and found the BIOS update necessary, and will prep a flash drive (FAT32 as it said), and intend to do that, but I just wanted to be sure on something. So while the i5 is still in, I boot to my BIOS, with the flash drive plugged in like usual with the BIOS update on it, boot the E-Z Flash option in the BIOS, it updates, then I shut down when it's done and swap the CPU's and it's all good? Not sure if I'm missing anything there.
I do want to apologize for being very back-and-forth right now. Bit awkward to post my issue at like midnight and respond a few times, then be gone a few hours.

You'll want your flashdrive to be FAT32. Place the .CAP file on the root of your flashdrive and go into the EZ flash utility. It will verify the file integrity then update. Once updated swap back to the 7700K and you should be up and running.

So I just did that, update on the flash drive, did the update, saw it in the bios snowing the updated version, switched CPU's, and still the display won't come on. Going to try swapping back to i5 and hoping it still can work.
