Before I got dual monitors, I'd get about 40c idle on my GPU, but now when I have two monitors connected to it the idle temp goes to 60c. while gaming it goes to 70-80c, which I guess is normal. but why are the idle temps so high and is it normal? my card is a asus strix r9 380 4gb.
My GPU idle temp is high with dual monitors?

Have you tried unplugging one and seeing if the temp goes down?
The card is having to render twice the screen space through two different ports, it's going to idle slightly higher but that's a little out there. 60c is quite high.
