Hi everyone,
I have a samsung 840 evo which i used in my desktop (had windows 8 installed on it). I now have a (new) laptop in which i want to place my ssd. I only have 1 sata slot (currently occupied by my HD with win 10 on it) So i bought a sata to usb adaptor. At first my ssd was visible in file explorer but after a failed cloning attempt it isnt anymore. Ive checked disk manager; its marked as unallocated. I got a initialise disk pop up>gpt>ok>data error(cylic redundancy check). Ive tryed partitioning with several programs but al gave errors, same goes for formatting. Used crystaldiskinfo to check the ssd it said "good 58%". Any ideas on how to solve my problem?
