Samsung evo 750 speed problem

Solution
Its the motherbd. it only has sata2 ports (ie- 3gp/s) and not the sata3/6gb/s that the 750 would like.
Not that this is a huge drawback either. Max speed is not used as much as 4k random so you will still see a nice improvement over a conventional hdd. Windows will still load quicker as will all of your apps and you system will still feel more responsive.

You just wont see much over 250MB/s in sequential benchmarks.

Case inpoint; I have two HTPC's with the exact same software load. Theone in the bedroom running a Patriot Pyro SE 64GB ssd on a sata2 port actaully boots windows and apps noticably quicker then the living room htpc that is running a much faster samsung ssd on a sata3 port. Why? because its faster at 4k then the samsung. LOL
