I have a 2 year old Corsair H60.
When i turn my pc on, sometimes (keyword), the CPU fan starts spinning at full speed cause of temperatures rising as high as 80°C, then It shuts itself down.
You would say the pump is dead, but it sure isnt cause sometimes when i inmediatelly turn the pc on again, it decides to work just fine (temps below 30°C).
Sometimes i have to try a couple of times. Sometimes more. Eventually It turns on, and once on, it stays on.
Issues related to thermalpaste or uneven heatsinc pressure wouldnt explain such behaviour, after all, 90℅ of the time the pc starts working just fine and at low temperatures.
I changed the thermalpaste anyway, which didnt work. Tried changing the 3pin to other motherboard connectors, stil didnt work. So what could it be?
Any ideas? (besides getting a 212Evo of course)..
Corsair H60
AMD FX-8350
AMD Radeon R9 270x
