I plan on using an ethernet cable for my upcoming build which will be my first build, but here's the thing, what if windows 10 doesn't recognize my Mobo and hardware so it doesn't connect to internet? Should i get the LAN driver for my Mobo and install it using USB? Also, what should i do if the ethernet is plugged in and nothing happens? Since my Mobo is a z170 pro gaming/aura from asus, i need some help as it doesn't have a wifi-adapter.

Solution
Do as you've already said.

Download the Ethernet Driver beforehand for your exact MOBO model and from the Manufacturers website.
Copy them to a USB, and if anything happens ( which i highly doubt as Windows 10 has a great service to auto-detect & install drivers ) install them manully in your new build.

Thanks man, building a new PC or planning it has been rough because i don't want to waste money and i don't want to be unsure of anything before diving in, this helped a lot and has calmed me down, thanks!
