Hey guys, I was wondering: is the AMD FX 8300 good for 3D animation/rendering? I know that Intel's CPUs are better for that kind of things, but I want to hear some "experts" advices. Thanks in advance
This should help you, I've used amd for a long time and they aren't that great for 3d modeling.
Hook it up with some good ddr3 1866, good motherboard brand, good clock speed and good dedicated gpu.
It'll perform much more better right on the lines of i5 haswell series, with a little bit of stuttering from time to time. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2221577/intel-4970k-amd-8350-modelling-rendering.html
