My current Graphics card is a HD6570(DDR3) and would like to upgrade to a GTX 1050 without upgrading my PSU.
I currently have a Acer Aspire TC-605 with a i5 4440, HD6570, 8Gb DDR3(2x 4GB) and a 1TB HDD, and a 300w PSU "fsp300-60tha(1)"

You should be allright with the PSU you have, Your system would drain about 250-270 watts from the PSU. but you need to know that it is always good to have a PSU with around 100W headroom or so. If you have the GTX 1050 in your system, and it doesen't get to full power, consider uppgrading your PSU to one with around 430-500 Watts or higher. Also the PSU in your system is probably not the most reliable one, so just a heads up.

Yes, If you would add the 1050 (taking out the HD6570 of course) your system would require around 200 watts of power, so it will work if you don't plan on adding another powerhungry component, in that case you will have to get a higher wattage power supply.

I will be removing the HD6570, and the GTX 1050 will be the only non oem component installed.

I went with a MSI GTX 750Ti. It's appose to be a 60w card, the but the cards bios limits it to about 40w. So less power draw than my old card.

Well the 1050 only needs Power from the motherboard as Well, so i think it is around 60 w too, but it is not the same as a 750ti, the 1050 is a much better performer, and is more cost effective
