I have installed a new hard drive in my acer aspire 5733 laptop, for the old one was completely eaten alive by a virus. after installing windows home premium 64 bit, i attempted to connect to my wifi. unable to do so, i opened the start menu and went to the control panel. went to systems and security, device manager. i am missing ethernet controller,network controller, and PCI simple communications controller. whenever i attempt to install/upgrade the drivers my laptop fails to do so and flashes the message "cannot install drivers. no intel(r) Adapters are present in this computer". any suggestions? I've tried downloading countless suggestions on google but they only ever bring me back to that message. i'm at a loss, please help

Your lan drivers is ethros and your wifi is realtek. Here is a link to your laptops drivers. Realtek may be all you need to install for wifi. Dont know why windows 7 is giving all those extra choices.
