Hi guys,

Not a major issue here but really quite an annoying one. My razer deathstalker chroma is for some reason on start up not turning its led lights on. Now at first i thought they were faulty and my razer deathadders lights were still working. However i unplugged the device and then back in and suddenly they come on. So at this point im stumped. Everytime i turn off my computer and back on the lights will not come on unless i unplug it and plug it back in. As you can tell this can get quite annoying having to unplug it and plug it back in every time i want to use the pc. The keyboard works fine may i add its just the lights which wont be on at startup until i unplug and re plug back in.

Any ideas?

Look in the Event Viewer logs to see if there are any keyboard or USB errors being reported during boot up. Also look for some following log entry indicating the keyboard being unplugged and replugged in. Some driver started perhaps.

May take some effort to get a sense of the Event Viewer logs. Just take your time and explore. Keep in mind that some of the logs can be lengthy and as a result be slow to load. Just wait.

There are informational, warning, and error entries.

Sorry for the slow reply but that did not seem to work. I still have to unplug and plug back in to get the leds to light up on the board.

I have to unplug the keyboard and then plug it back while the pc is on for it to work. I've tried multiple usbs so I don't think that's the issue and I don't have any hubs
