Is My $550 Gaming PC Build Good?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could check out my Gaming PC Build and give me some advice on it. I would prefer to stay with Nvidia and Intel instead of drifting over to AMD. I appreciate any help you can give.

Motherboard: Gigabyte LGA1151 Intel B150 Micro ATX DDR4
CPU: Intel i3 6100 3.70 GHz
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 (3GB)
Power Supply: EVGA 500 W1
Case: DeepCool TX Mid Tower TESSERACT SW
RAM: HyperX Fury 8GB
Hard Drive: 250 GB HDD
CPU Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
(I was also considering a small SSD just to have Windows on but am still unsure as I am on a tight budget.)
Once again, any help/advice is very much appreciated!

It's not bad at all. Haven't if you can spend a bit more and get the i5-6400 or 6500, you will hd a quad-core processor. you can achieve this by getting rid of the Hyper 212 EVO and using the the stock cooler included with the CPU. Also is 250 going to be enough? I think if you want a SSD, upgrade to a 1TB first (only $25 more) and then grab an SSD. Again, that's just my recommendation.

Seasonic is a great brand. In fact, it's in my top 3 brands: EVGA (Supernova or higher), Corsair, and Seasonic.

But had has a low-end PSU now.

Thanks alot, I think I am going to go with your suggestion of the i5-6500 although I don't really think I'll need 1 TB of storage (but if I need it I can always just upgrade.) Once again I really appreciate the help.

Yeah, I am definitely going to go with an i5-6500 and am going to keep my EVGA PSU although as I said before, if I need the extra storage I can always just upgrade.

You can get a 1TB Hard Drive on amazon for 50 dollars and free shipping. If you choose to upgrade later than you're going to need to migrate your OS over to the new HDD. Modern games nowadays can take up a lot of storage very quickly.

Okay thanks for pointing that out, this will be my first gaming pc so I never really realized how much storage games take up.
