That board is socket 1151, which takes 6xxx and 7xxx CPUs. The best CPU you could use with it is the i7 7700K, but it will not work until the BIOS is updated. The fastest CPU that will work out-of-the-box is the 6700K.

Very few 6th Gen. boards have the BIOS update needed , they won't until the old stock is sold on the market , best to stick with a Skylake if ordering now.
