I've searched far and wide for an answer to this question and haven't found anything, so you guys are my last hope.

My specs:
Motherboard-Asus Z97AR
Processor-i5 4690K
PSU-Seasonic Platinum 660W
WiFi Card-Broadcom BCM94352HMB

So my computer works perfectly fine if I boot it without the WiFi card installed. No issues at all. If I plug the WiFi card in, using a mini-PCIE to PCIE1X adapter, my computer refuses to boot, and the CPU_LED stays a solid red, this is my only error indication.

I tried the card in my friend's Skylake build, and it caused a similar issue, although it did post. The Asus Anti-Surge message popped up on screen.

The weirdest part is that with the old power supply I used to use, a Corsair CX600 (bronze rated PSU), the WiFi card worked perfectly fine in the same build, with the PSU being the only change.

Is it possible that the WiFi card has some issue where its not regulating the voltage or current that it is using or something?

I'm relatively knowledgeable computer-wise, but not so much in the electronic aspects so I've come here for guidance. I'm more just curious if you guys think it is my specific card that's messed up or if there is some weird incompatibility between my motherboard, PSU and WiFi card?

Thanks to anyone who attempts to reply to my problem from hell haha

I have tried other cards and they work, but not of the same model. I ordered another one of the same model last night, when I get it I'll report back. I'm sure this is a pretty unique issue, but in the event someone else has it hopefully my solution (if I ever find one) will save them all the time and effort I've had to put in.
