Can (and should i) upgrade my motherboard

I was recently looking through my computer, looking for the next thing to upgrade after i bought my new GTX 1070, and found that the motherboard was quite old. Can anyone help me, as to if an upgrade is possible, and even worth it?

My Rig:
CPU: Intel Core I7 4790
Motherboard: MSI Z87M Gaming (MS-7866)
RAM: 16GB DDR3 (Dual Channel)
GPU: GeForce GTX 1070
PSU: Corsair RM850 (850 Watt)

Well, my price range would probably be a maximum of 300€. And i do not really plan on upgrading to DDR4.

That PC is just fine ATM, save money, or invest in games/perhiperals.
