Just finished my build, no internet

My mobo is asus prime z270-k and the driver disk that comes with it constantly fails to install the LAN driver. So I went to their website and tried to download the drivers myself on another computer and when I install it from there it says the installation has failed with Windows 10.

I'm honestly out of options, what can I do?

check the BIOS. it may be disabled in there

Have you installed the most up to date motherboard drivers first?

i am going to be the bad guy here. If all fails, borrow a wifi usb from a friend or buy it. Use it to connect to internet (assuming u have wifi) and download updated drivers automatically.

could you share the error message with us? Obviously there is something wrong if you failed to install from 2 different sources.
