NZXT 530 phantom case -Unknown wires-

So I'm in the process of building my pc. I am using the
NZXT 530 case
ASUS Maximus IX Hero

The case has a plug that says " DO NOT CONNECT WHILE PC IS POWERED ON" I would like to know what this is for and where it should be plugged in.

I also would like to know where to plug in the fan controller.

If the connector you're talking about is the wide connector as seen from this image here:

then it's the SATA power connector that is used to power your case's built-in fan controller.

Plug the SATA connector to the SATA power connector coming out of your PSU.
It looks like so:
