I am confused whether to buy a r9 270x or go with the newly released GTX 1050 Ti 4GB.
:! should i go for Nvidia 1050 ti or R9 270x :)

You should go with the GTX 1050 Ti Zotac OC considering that it has:
Newer architecture
Faster base (and boost) clock speed (1392 MHz vs 1,000 MHz)
Faster Turbo Clock speed (1506 MHz vs 1,050 MHz)
More VRAM/Memory (4GB vs 2GB)
Faster Memory (7,000MHz vs 5,600 MHz)
Higher overclock ability
Quieter
More Power Efficient (75W vs 180W)

Considering it's newer, it should also have far more support gamewise for the newer titles coming out.

hands down the 1050Ti much newer which means it should be supported for longer, runs more efficiently, more VRAM etc. Basically just an all round faster and more efficient card. Which LucaFire summarised above

In my opinion $220 is too much for a 3gb card, even if it is a 1060. The EVGA cards go, from least expensive to most expensive, Gaming, SC, SSC, FTW. You are picking one of the most expensive of that model, not a good idea in my opinion. If you want Nvidia streaming that's fine, but get a less expensive 1060 3gb.
