Hello,i just got my new gpu RX 460 OC 2GB Windforce and im still getting lagg in games, that is because my cpu,i have a AMD athlon II x2 250 3gh and a GF615M-P33v1.3 mobo.I am on a real tight budget and i was wondering what should i get,a new cpu for this mobo Or save up for a new mobo and the G4560

A quad core should be a good boost over a dual core. Many current gen games require a quad core or atleast a 4 thread cpu. Make sure you update your bios before changing cpu and upgrade your ram to atleast 8gb. Here is another better option for you

Phenom II x4

Don't buy a new dual-core. There are a lot of games that can take advantage of more than 2 cores now, so despite what some say, I would not recommend it. You also got a card with just 2GB VRAM, which is not enough for a lot of games either.

On the other hand, your CPU is very old as well, and will bottleneck in just about anything.

Let us know your budget so we can recommend a better option. Going for G4560 can still be costly as you will also need a new mobo and DDR4 ram. However you can still buy a used athlon x4 cpu for about 30$ or 6 core phenom cpus for about 80$ which are compatible with your current motherboard. This will be a huge boost to your gaming performance.
