Hello! I just bought a new pair of bluetooth headsets. Pretty cheap product , but since it is my first bluetooth headset, i just wanted to see how things work out.

My question is, if you can replace the built in mic , on the headphone, with an external 3.5mm mic?

I already know the built in mic, on the cheap bluetooth headset is not the best, so i want to see if i can replace that with something else.

I have a external turtlebeach mic, so i thought maybe that would work, if i put that mic in the AUX input on the bluetooth headset?

(Im waiting for a bluetooth dongle for my pc, thats why i have not tested it out yet)

Sorry for my bad english!

In that case, you should be able to use a different microphone by doing this: connect your Bluetooth headset and your mike to your PC, right click on the speaker icon at the bottom right hand corner of the screen, and select "Recording Devices". In the window that opens, find your mike, right click on it, and select, " Set as Default Device ". Then click the tab that says " Playback Devices" and make sure your Bluetooth headset is set as the default playback device. This should work...

Connecting the mike cable to the AUX port on the headphones won't work. That's for connecting a device to play sound through them. For using a different mike, that depends. What device do you plan on using your headphones with?
