Heyoh tech geniuses!

I'm orchestral composer and my current hardware have prevented me from doing what I need and being a serious pain in the ass for long. I'm therefore finally upgrading my CPU to i7.

My current plan is to buy:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 (310€)
MOTHERBOARD: ASRock B85M Pro3 Intel B85 (53€)
SSD: Samsung 960 EVO 250Gb (141€)

So, a few questions about
RAM:
Having 16Gb of ddr3 already, is there reasons for why I might need to upgrade to ddr4 in near future? Are the speed noticeable in practise?
I worry this because if I buy LGA1151 I'll need to put extra 160€ for RAM4, but if I buy LGA1150 and want to upgrade to ddr4 later I'd need new CPU and motherboard again...

MOTHERBOARD:
Is there any other reasons beside ddr4 to buy 1151 socket motherboard and cpu? Any relevant flaws with 1150?

CPU:
How much can clocking really make? Wondering if I should consider 4790K for 50€ more.

GPU?
Lastly, gaming is not in my priorities and haven't therefore thought of GPUs much, but for what will the i7's integrated graphics be enough for? I'm wondering if an external GPU should be worth considering even for occasional gaming.

MY CURRENT HARDWARE:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955 3.2GHz
RAM: 2x8Gb G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 1600 Mhz
STORAGE: 931GB Seagate ST1000DM003-1CH162 ATA Device (SATA)
Graphics card: 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series
POWER: Corsair CX500
OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Imaginary hugs for all help!

Thank you! I'll look for 1151 primarily, then.

I did not! However, high single core speed is a priority for me, in which intel has so far always beaten AMD, so I suspect that AMD will still not suit me as well.
