Could someone please advise which graphics cards (preferably not more than £50/$60 or so) would go with a Zoostorm 7801-0003 Desktop PC Intel Core i3-4130 1TB Windows 8.1?

Thank you,

Zak

That is an 1155 socket CPU. The PSU on your system is tiny (I think it was 240w). You'd have to upgrade the PSU to something atleast 300-500 depending on the card, as it is compatible with PCIe, which is what current gen cards use.

It seems though, that your budget unfortunately doesn't support a GPU that would be worthwhile to even add to in todays times, let alone get you a PSU with said GPU.

Thank you, Stapler Gun. What I'm getting from you is that I need to upgrade my power supply to power any card that will make a difference. And this must be compatible with a 1150 socket (which I think is what it is with the i3 4130). Tbh, what I am looking for is something that would let me run Alien: Isolation. Disguarding my cost strictures, could you please suggest both a compatible power supply and card that might together meet these requirements? Sorry for the basic questions. I am pretty much new to gaming.

Diolch yn fawr,

Zak

Thanks, Maxalge, that is really helpful. Love the pic, btw, 2001 is still my favourite sf film, despite learning, sadly, some of the centripetal physics in the Discovery habitat are awry. And did you know James Horner's end theme to 'Aliens' is based on the passage from Katchachurian's 'Gayane' which first introduces the Discovery mission in 2001?
