OK I have everything Budgeted out for my new upgrade. I'm going with an AMD build this time. With the Prices being what they are... some leaked and others confirmed.... I am comfortable with the cost.
Yes it was a choice and don't want to hear why I should go the Other way.

Looking at the New Ryzen information I will be going with anywhere between the Ryzen 5 1400X or Pro all the way up to the 1600X or Pro. All depends on the Benchmarks.

Mobo, I'm a big fan of ASUS, I will prolly go with one of ASUS's X370 boards and 16gb of RAM.
PLUS I also had to budget out and Adapter for my CPU cooler. I am usually very Good about keeping receipts but I just can't find that one. I looked when it was announced that some Cooler manufacturers were offering a Free Mounting upgrade with proof of Purchase.

Here's the Actual Question.

I have a R9 280 currently but want to get into a Crossfired RX 480 build.
I want the Sapphire Nitro+ 480 8gb but can't afford it now, May with Tax Refund.
I am looking at a Sapphire Nitro 480 4gb that is in my Budget right now but I am wondering if it will work in Crossfire with the 480 Nitro+ above.

Solution
If you crossfire do go for the 8GB. The 4GB, whilst having half the VRAM, also has slower memory clocks. I wouldn't consider Crossfire 480 4GB.

I understand that Vega is coming but TBH I will be just fine with Crossfired 480s for the time being.
Will the 4gb Nitro be compatible with the 8gb Nitro+?
