A week ago my PSU randomly died on me and I ordered a new one (more W, same config). Today I replaced it and I got message that my screen wouldn't show, after wiggling the PCI cables on the GPU it started up and I thought I fixed it. I played some games and encountered no problems. After shutting down my PC I immediatly rebooted it because I forgot to do something and it gave me the same problem of not showing a screen again. I've set up a RMA and recevied a new PSU, the same problem is still there, here is a list of what works and what not:

I tried to connect the monitor via the mobo: WORKS (BIOS shows up)
I tried using an old GPU and connecting screen on GPU: WORKS (BIOS shows up aswell)
I retried using the new GPU and connecting screen on GPU: FAILS.

Considering I could game on it shows that the GPU works, right?
The only thing I could think of is low power but the new PSU has MORE power than my previous one had so I'm confused ...

I really appreciate every input!!

Is it necessary you need the specific Mobo? I have no idea how to achieve that.
My previous PSU was a Corsair CX500, the new one is Corsair RM650I.
Using a GTX970.

Okay after waiting so long for my friend to buy his PC, I could finally plug my GTX970 into his PC and it worked! So apperently my motherboard is broken, I don't know why my old GPU works on it and my new (970) doesn't. If anyone knows why, feel free to answer I would really like to know!

New PC already on it's way :)
