I have just purchased For Honor, my PC has never made any noise (I bought higher specs to not push it too hard). However, the moment I run For Honor my CPU fan starts running overtime and the noise is terrible, as soon as I minimize the game window the noise immediately stops. I tried turning all settings to lowest when it recommends high, no improvement at all. The cooler I use is Corsair CW-9060024-WW Hydro Series H80i V2 120 mm, my CPU is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6400 CPU @2.70GHz it is overclocked to 3.0 (just want to mention this in case, I run temp and load applications to keep track of any changes). When I run For Honor the max CPU load is 67% and the temp hasn't gone 29C. Any suggestions how to stop the noise?

Just For Honor, I really only use applications to keep an eye on everything. I do run Intel Extreme Tuning Utility but have not changed anything on it just use it to keep an eye. Previously I used "Core Temp 1.4". For the light system in my PC (NZXT Hue+), I downloaded an application called CAM and although it has CPU tuning etc again I only use it to control the lights and have not adjusted anything with it. I overclocked through the Bios otherwise default settings

I have CAM as well, and it doesn't add much CPU resources. The fact that your fans are loud, yet it's at 29c is boggling. My best guess, would be to re-install for honor. Back up any saved data to keep your progress. However, I believe it's synced to your uPlay account. Don't quite me on that
