i've got an hp laptop it's a compaq 615 and it's missing a hard drive
in it's bios there's an option to enable booting through sd cards
i've got some SD\HC card 32GB laying around
is it possible to install windows 7 on it?

Yes it is possible(in theory, not sure about that specific laptop and install would be a challenge as windows installer will most likely not see it) the performance would be so bad as to make it unusable. Sd cards are very slow vs HD. Just buy a HD

You could install android onto an SD card but you wouldn't be able to boot a PC from it. Android supports ARM processesors and Windows supports x86 and x64 processors. They aren't interchangeable without an emulator, which you need an OS in first place for. However the new ARM chips being are getting native emulation support for x86 which means you could install windows on an ARM device in the future.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

you're right
but the problem is i cannot afford a new HDD atm and my laptop is just sitting aside being useless
would it be terribly slow if i get windows 7 on an sd card even if it's a class 10 card?
like HDDs got to spin and stuff but sd\hc cards do not
