Testing Network Adapter speed

Anyone know how? I am getting only 20 Mbps of my 200-250 Mbps connection.

I had the cable guy come out and he tested everything, including the wire im using, and he is getting 250 Mbps on his device.

Is there a way to test if a network adapter is failing like this?

I use ookla to test my speeds, it's always accurate

Are you sure it isn't 20MB/s (megabytes)which would be roughly 250mb/s (megabits)

It doesn't matter what speed test I use. Not only that, as stated, the cable guy was getting the speeds differ from mine on the tests.

Yes, we pay for 200 Mb connection. All devices but my PC seem to get this speed, but my PC is only getting 25 Mbps (downloading at roughly 1.5-3 MBps.

How do you connect to your PC ?
Do you use the ethernet port on the motherboard or are you using a plug-in card
