Hello all, I'm facing the infamous Windows Update problem and I'm about to throw in the towel.
Some background but I'm sure you've all heard it all before.
Fresh install of Windows Vista, installed SP2, 32bit. Windows Update just does not work. I've left it running for over 24 hours.
I've searched this forum multiple times over and tried everything. The updates MS has released just search forever as well.
Does anyone have a definitive fix? I hate to abandon the system now, everything is running so nicely...but I just can't sleep at night until this is solved. Please help! TIA
