Need desperate help, please

I've seen that my CPU is running 90c on idle with 10% LOAD

I have a H80i Corsair Water cpu cooler that seemed to work fine, for about 3 years.
Yesterday i've downloaded corsair link and seen that the PUMP RPM is ALWAYS between 260 RPM and 270 RPM, even when the CPU is at 90c and 10 % load

Normally, the pump rpm should be around 2000 + if the cpu is hot, i checked all connections, fan orientations etc and i determined that the pump is dead and disconnected it and threw it in the cupboard.

The CPU is now just exposed, with an aircon spewing out 16c cold air directly onto it. Sitting on desktop for about 10 min, the cores cool down to around 45c

Opening chrome, or doing anything makes the cores jump to 65c or more..

TLDR: H80i pump died.. i think. CPU exposed with no cooler, still idles at 60c with aircon on it.

The 30 degree jump is normal... they can overheat even a few seconds after turning the computer on, so imagine running it without a cooler. Blowing air directly onto the CPU is no where near as efficient as having a heatsink. Air density doesn't compare to a flat metal surface absorbing heat from the CPU... so air does pick up little heat from the CPU but can't keep-up with the amount being generated.

The CPU is dying but because you are killing it... better stop rightaway and don't start it again untill you have installed a working cooler.

My question here is, is it normal for a CPU to jump 30 degrees without a cooler by opening a single process, eg. Chrome. Remembering i do have 15c air blowing on it constantly. if that is not normal then it leads me to believe my CPU is dying and in reality the pump had nothing to do with it. If it is normal, i guess it's time to buy a new pump

I mean, if you have no heatsink on it and you're just blowing cold air onto it yes absolutely that would be normal. You're not giving the heat anywhere to go. You're pushing cold air onto it but the surface area that needs to be cooled is much smaller than it would be with either water going through it where the heat gets transferred to the fins of a radiator, or with an air cooler on it where the heat gets transferred to the fins on the heatsink itself. You need to have something physically on the CPU to have it cool effectively. Your CPU is not dead; but as said above, the longer you use it like this the more chance you have of killing it.

Edit: Also, you can't just buy a new pump for an AIO. You would need an entirely new AIO, otherwise when you take the pump out you'll be taking out some fluid with it, and those air bubbles will not have anywhere to escape to. This will hurt both your temperatures on the CPU, and your pump will die faster.
