ok so i prefer to play on 4:3 streched. but for some reason i get worse frames when playing like this. i have a gtx 1080 GPU and an i7 4820k CPU. so i realize that lowering the resolution makes the game to focus more on cpu power and less on gpu power, but is there a way that i can make my games always focus on gpu power instead on cpu. when i play on a lower res ?
Lower resolutions causing my games to get worse frames than if i was at 1080p.
