I've had a Qnix 2710 Evolution II @ 110hz for 4-5 years now and would like a change. Would it be worth selling the Qnix and buying this monitor ( http://www.bestbuy.com/site/dell-27-led-gsync-monitor-black/5293502.p?skuId=5293502 ) to upgrade my gaming display? Would the higher cost be worth it?

I might as well mention this... I have a high-end system with a GTX 1080 to take advantage of the g-sync and high refresh rate.

Thanks!

It all depends on your preferences. Do you think you can see the difference between 110 and 144Hz? I personally think most people would only see a slight change if any, so to get the same resolution monitor of the same size with the same features is pretty outlandish for the price if the only thing you will be upgrading is 34Hz and aesthetic. IMO, it's not worth it.

I see it as you already have a high refresh rate monitor. So you're paying for gsync and general improvement in functionality. Have you seen gsync in action, in high refresh rate monitors in person? If not, then don't pay for it until you do. If you have seen it in action, did it make you think "OMG, I need that!"? If not, don't buy this monitor.
