System Crashing. (Help Required)

Hi,

I recently updated my CPU and GPU. Since doing this I have been experiences crashing when i play most games. When a game crashes it will normally freeze then shut down and revert back to the desktop or it will freeze and I will have to kill the programme in task manager.
I also have had the odd blue screen with the "your PC ran into a problem" message. This issue only come after i have tried to play a game and the game crashes.

I don't have any issues when I use the PC for general tasks like internet browsing, playing media (Films, Music ect). I also have no issues playing games that are not that demanding like Hearthstone.

I have tried reducing the graphic setting on the games crashing my PC and it has made no difference.

I have updated my BIOS and drivers as well as removing the old drivers.

I thought the issue was windows so i did a fresh install of windows but the issues still remained.

I have bench marked the GPU with FurMark, Valley Benchmark as well as 3D mark. and I have had no issues.

I ran Memtest86 and I got 37 errors. all the errors were in test 6. I ran the test a second time and got 30 errors this time but still all in test 6.


The only thing I can think that might be the issue is either the PSU or the Memory.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
