Hi guys, I'm using below system:
- Mainboard: B85M-D
- Cpu: i5-4590 3.3Ghz
- 4GBx 2 DDR3
- Vga: Msi gtx 950 low power
- 1x HDD SATA
I plan to equip 2 more 4GB ram, totally 4x4GB ram. Is my Huntkey 400w enough

I'll just quote myself:
If your budget is far too limited, at least try for Corsair VS500, Antec VP500 if not Seasonic S12II, Antec High Current Gamer, XFX TS, Corsair CXM.

For the budget limited, the Corsair VS, Antec VP you want >50% max capacity than what your system would draw. And for the VS, avoid the old 450/550W and go for the newer 400/500W instead...
For the later group, Seasonic S12II, Antec HCG (mod of SS M12II line), XFX TS (mod of SS S12II line as I recall), Corsair CXM they are well designed enough to take 100% load if needed (so the minimal capacity available for each model...

It's not about the wattage, it's about how well the PSU can deliver power to the components... and having a huntkey is guaranteed to kill your system over time.

You may just try to get the system and left the huntkey in and the system would still power on and then think that I was just fooling you, but I'm speaking from experience of having a 165W build on a 550W huntkey and having 3 HDDs+1GPU died before finally the huntkey died taking the MB with it.

You absolutely do not want a huntkey powering your i5 build.

The Corsair VS is ok for budget build so long that it's not always taking >50% max capacity.

The power is more than enought.

Diferent thing is that the PSU quality and protections. A bad PSU could ruin your system. I don't known the brand Huntkey.
